Write a blog post: The dark side of chocolate
Explain what the issue is - Child Labour - Child Trafficking
Where is it located - Africa - Ivory coast
Who is it effecting? - The kids, The parent's
What are the different perspectives around this? Nestle CEO. Film maker
What is your opinion on this issue? - That it should be stopped
The Dark side of chocolate - For period 1 and 2 we watched a document about "The dark side of chocolate." It's about a rumour they heard. Child trafficking. Child trafficking is located in Africa but is mainly done in to north side of Africa, Ivory coast
Child labour is effecting a lot of the kids working and there parents. It's effecting the kids because of all the work they have to do without even getting a brake. Which could cause the kid's bodies to brake. Why is it happening to the kids, It's happening to the kids because either the parent's don't have money to pay for there bills or because kids have more energy and are fitter to do the jobs
There were two different perspectives in the documentary. The CEO of Nestle, Tohe adam Malic said there is no trafficking involved with where they get there coco beans. The Film maker - Miki Mistrati had his ups and downs but finally found out the information he wanted to know. Child trafficking is happening in the coco bean industries.
My opinion on this is that i thinking people should start using The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights.

The Elections 2017
In the current election National is in the lead with a total of 58 seats, Labour with 45 seats, NZ first with 9 seats, Green party with 7 seats and ACT with 1 seat At the momment there isn't a govermeant Why? Well because none of the parites have reached half as much seats as they need (61 ect). So the two big parties LABOUR and NATIONAL need to form a coalition. But in the end i doesn't really matter who wins the voting because in my eyes Drugs are still gonna get sold, Homeless peopel are still be on the streets and Parent's aren't gonna have jobs
